Check eligibility before applying.
Cashbook Finance’s eligibility checker is an indicative screening tool, not a credit approval. It organises the first conversation around product fit, trading history, evidence, security or receivables and the proposed repayment route, then carries the result into the application.
- About 2–3 minutes
- No credit search
- Instant indicative result

Indicative only. This checker does not approve or decline finance, perform a credit search, collect personal information or submit your answers. Any facility remains subject to underwriting, verification, valuation where relevant, legal work and agreed terms. Bridging finance is secured against property; your property may be repossessed if you do not keep up repayments.

Drop in the aged debtor (aged receivables) report from Xero, QuickBooks, Sage or your accounts package, as CSV or Excel. It is read on this device and never uploaded, and it can pre-fill the check above.

Not underwriting. The checker organises the first conversation using product, trading, evidence and risk signals. It does not perform underwriting or credit approval. For growing businesses, our stage-by-stage invoice finance guide explains how evidence and controls change from early trading through scale-up.

What the checker asks
The questions behind the result.
Invoice finance
- Is the business based and trading in the UK? The facility is designed for UK businesses.
- Do you invoice other businesses for completed work or supplied goods? Invoice finance normally funds business-to-business receivables rather than consumer invoices.
- How long do customers usually take to pay? Credit terms create the cash-flow gap invoice finance is built to bridge.
- What is the approximate annual turnover? Around £50,000 or more is a common starting point, but smaller cases can still merit a review.
- How long has the business been trading? Established trading history helps, although newer businesses may still be considered.
- Are the invoices completed, accepted and free from genuine disputes? Funders need a valid receivable for work already completed or goods already supplied.
- How is your sales ledger spread across customers? A concentration limit caps the share of funding that one customer, or a connected group, can account for.

Bridging finance
- Is the property or land in the UK? This checker is for UK property-backed bridging cases.
- What type of security is available? Bridging can be secured against buy-to-let, unoccupied residential investment, commercial or mixed-use property, and sometimes land. Owner-occupied residential property is outside scope.
- What are the approximate funding and property values?
- What is the main purpose of the bridge? A clear, time-sensitive use is usually easier to assess.
- How is the bridge expected to be repaid? A credible exit is the core of a bridging case.
- What term is likely to be needed? Bridging is short-term by design.
- What charge position is expected? First and second charges can both be considered, depending on the existing debt and available equity.
- How developed is the transaction? The more complete the property, exit and timing information, the faster a case can usually be assessed.

The checker does not approve finance. It records the product, positive factors and review points so the application does not ask you to repeat them.
