Use the guidance below when a document will not upload, a field is unclear or you need to confirm what information is required.

Documents required

  • Photo ID: passport or driving licence.
  • Proof of address: a recent utility bill, bank statement or council tax bill.
  • Invoice: at least one invoice you want Cashbook Finance to assess.

File requirements

  • Use PDF, JPG, JPEG or PNG.
  • Keep each file below 7.5 MB.
  • Use clear, readable scans or photographs.
  • Do not upload password-protected files.

Common upload fixes

  1. Refresh the page and sign in again.
  2. Rename the file using ordinary letters and numbers.
  3. Export a fresh PDF or reduce the image size.
  4. Try a current version of Chrome, Safari, Edge or Firefox.
