### Essential operation

Storage may be used where necessary for security, forms, preferences and core site functions.

### Privacy-focused analytics

Aggregate website measurement is configured without advertising profiles or cross-site tracking.

### Browser control

You can manage cookies and site storage through your browser settings.

This policy explains how cookies and similar technologies may be used on this website, operated by Cashbook Finance Limited.

### What cookies are

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They’re widely used to make sites work, to remember your preferences, and to help owners understand how a site is used.

### Current cookie and storage inventory

The current site does not set advertising or marketing cookies. The storage used by Cashbook is limited to what is necessary for the client portal:

- cb_portal_session – an essential, first-party, HttpOnly authentication cookie set only after a successful portal sign-in. It is Secure, SameSite=Lax and expires after up to one hour of authenticated inactivity.

- No public-page preference, advertising or cross-site tracking cookies are currently set by Cashbook Finance.

### Analytics

We use Plausible Analytics for aggregate usage measurement. It is configured without analytics cookies and does not use cross-site advertising identifiers. If we introduce any non-essential storage or access technology, we will update this inventory and request consent where required.

### Third-party links

Our pages link to third-party services such as LinkedIn. If you follow those links, the third party may set its own cookies, governed by its own policies – we have no control over those.

### Managing cookies

You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings, including blocking them altogether. Please note that blocking some cookies may affect how parts of this or other websites work. Your browser’s help pages explain how to manage cookies for your specific browser.

### Changes

We may update this policy from time to time; the current version will always appear on this page. If you have any questions, email info@cashbookfinance.co.uk.
